DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR (PART-TIME)

The PACT Theatre Company is seeking an energetic, versatile individual for the position of Development Coordinator to support our mission of creating exceptional theatre experiences that inspire and engage the Gulf Coast community.

The Development Coordinator is responsible for assisting the executive director in the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of all contributed support for The PACT Theatre Co. in accordance with budget goals for each fiscal season.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Bachelors’s or higher college degree — not required, but preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and implementation skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail and highly organized

FRONT DESK HOST (PART-TIME)

Summary of Position:

The Front Desk Host is responsible for greeting and directing guests as well as maintaining a safe working environment for Teaching Artists, Students, and adult participants.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greeting visitors
  • Prepping rooms 
  • Maintaining a clean working environment including halls, bathrooms, and classrooms

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong proficiency in GoogleDocs
  • Excellent Customer Service

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma, not required
  • 1 year of working experience
  • Independent thinkers with a strong propensity to figure things out on their own and get them done

Physical Demands: The position requires grasping, repetitive hand movement, and fine coordination in using a computer keyboard. Acute hearing is required when providing phone and personal service. This employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.

Compensation: Hourly wage starts at $8-10/hour

  • 12-16 hours per week

TEACHING ARTISTS (PART-TIME)

The PACT Theatre Co. is looking to expand its current roster of Teaching Artists. Teaching artists responsibilities range from class to class and can be catered to your skillset. We are looking for those who can spearhead creating lesson plans for dance, acting, musical theatre, improv, tech, design, and everything in between! For less experienced instructors, we offer opportunities to hone your skills and learn to translate performance experience to the classroom!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, Drama, Education, or equivalent work experience, is not required but preferred 
  • 1-3 years of experience in performance or teaching
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Great ability to connect with kids

Specifically Looking for a Music Director for our Youth Cabaret Performance of Willy Wonka Jr (August-December 2022) as well as other teaching artists for the Fall of 2022.

Compensation: Hourly wage starts at $15-20/hour

INTERNSHIPS

Are you a high school or college student who loves theatre?

We have the perfect internship for you! Our year is going to be very busy, so we are looking for a few interns! Our interns assist in day-to-day operations at The PACT as well as assist with our programs. Our Fall internship runs from August through Mid-December.
