VIDEO AUDITIONS
Video auditions will be accepted, however in-person callbacks will be mandatory. Please fill out the audition form – once submitted, you will receive an email from our casting department regarding video audition requirements.
CALLBACKS

Callbacks are REQUIRED to be considered for a role.
All roles are open to those in 8th grade through 12th grade for the 2023/2024 year.

Audition Information
We are looking for all types of performers!
In-Person Audition Requirements
- Please prepare 1-2 pop/rock songs
- Please sing with an instrumental or karaoke track, ABSOLUTELY NO A CAPELLA
- Arrive early to check in!
Casting Breakdowns:
- Sensational triple threat performers required to perform the SIX WIVES of Henry VIII (Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard and Catherine Parr) as they reunite to tell their stories in the form of a pop concert musical.
- Requires a great pop voice – Inspirations include:
- Aragon – Beyoncé & Shakira
- Boleyn – Lilly Allen & Avril Lavigne
- Seymour – Adele & Sia
- Cleves – Nicki Minaj & Rihanna
- Howard – Ariana Grande & Britney Spears
- Parr – Alicia Keys & Emeli Sandé
- Must be a sensationally strong singer, dancer and actor. Triple threats mandatory
- Good comedic instincts and ability to interact with an audience
- No gender requirements.
- CATHERINE OF ARAGON – A real badass monarch. Commanding, sure of herself, bold. She lights up the room. (Range: Ab3-Eb5)
- ANNE BOLEYN – Fun-loving, always up for a laugh. Never takes anything too seriously, but at the same time lives for the drama. Some have described her as a “chaos goblin.” (Range: C4-E5)
- JANE SEYMOUR – Kind and sincere. Loves a dad joke, but no one is ever impressed with Jane’s attempts at comedy. (Range: A3-D5)
- ANNA OF CLEVES – Savvy, loves her life, won history and no one even knows it. Cleves is here for a good time. (Range: G3-B4)
- KATHERINE HOWARD – Super smart with a wicked sense of humor. Remembered as “the promiscuous one” – but she is SO much more than that. (Range: A3-F#5)
- CATHERINE PARR – Grounded, thoughtful and warm. Loves the other queens. A champion of female empowerment. (Range: A3-E5)
REHEARSAL INFORMATION
REHEARSAL INFO:
Rehearsals will be Monday-Thursday from 5:30-8:30pm. Saturday Mornings from 10 am-3 pm and Sunday afternoons. Rehearsals will NOT be every day.
Tech week rehearsals will go until 10 pm.

ATTENDANCE POLICY:
Attendance is mandatory for rehearsals and performances.
Conflicts are taken into consideration during casting as we want the strongest show we can have! Please note that any conflicts added after this sheet may not be honored.
ALL SHOWS ARE REQUIRED.
Important Note: Regardless of the reason, excused or unexcused, if a cast member misses rehearsal (or is late for rehearsal or leaves rehearsal early), he/she may be cut from any scenes that were rehearsed that day. This is not a punishment, it is simply a natural consequence of the pace of our rehearsal schedule. New material is learned each week and then we move on. We may not have the time to back up and re-teach material for cast members who were not present.
PRODUCTION FEE
SHOW TUITION: $375
EXTRA FEES:
Yearly Registration (Summer 2023 – Spring 2024): $40.00
Costume Fee: $50-$150 (depending on the costume)
**A costume fee WILL be required**
PARENT VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENT:
If under the age of 18: One parent per family must volunteer to work 3 shifts per run of the show on show days, work on set/costumes, and many other things. If you choose not to volunteer, you can Buy Out of volunteering by paying $150. Volunteer spots will be available at the first meeting.
