The PACT Theatre Company was founded in 2018 with a mission to train and educate local students and present innovative professional-quality theatre experiences for our community and surrounding areas. The PACT is nationally & locally recognized for its high-quality performances and innovative methods in performing arts.
The PACT Theatre Company produces three main-stage shows each season. This includes our fall show that is exclusively for students that are in 3rd grade through 12th grade, our large-scale spring musical open to all ages, our summer musical that is targeted at certain age groups, as well as our special event performance every year. The PACT’s Performance Company attends Junior Theatre Festival, the world’s largest youth musical theatre event. The PACT hosts many other special events throughout the year. The PACT offers unique and innovative musical theatre summer camps every year, where a full musical is produced in two weeks. The PACT offers weekly training in dance, acting, music as well as private coaching through our training academy.
Our alumni go on to study in collegiate theater programs across the nation and pursue careers in arts or use the skills they learn with The PACT in their career of choice. Our academy and productions are provided for children and adults of all ages, abilities, and cultural heritages. The PACT strives to keep the arts alive by encouraging students to express themselves through their movements and voice while also helping students to find their style. We strive to produce quality and professional shows on the Gulf Coast for families and individuals to enjoy.
We use a variety of materials for our program. We use various shows and adaptations, such as the Broadway JR series or the MTI educational program, as a vehicle to teach performance skills. Each show has been thoughtfully adapted to meet the educational needs of young performers while providing an entertaining audience experience. Throughout the show process, students receive technical training in voice, acting, and dance. At the end of the process, students perform a fully staged musical with sets, costumes, and props at The Steeple on St. Francis.
We have opportunities for tech students or those interested in technical theatre. The opportunities include lights, sound, and stage management, provide hands-on technical theatre education for The PACT students.
The PACT Academy offers specialized technique training for students who wish to expand their knowledge, skills, and elevate their performance. Classes are offered in voice/music, acting, dance, and (soon) technical theater. Private lessons and audition coaching appointments are also available. Students do not need to register for a show to take technique classes.

The PACT’s summer program is a high-energy camp that allows campers in Kindergarten-12th Grade to experience musical theatre in exciting and innovative ways.
Our performance camps take The PACT Show experience and condense it into two action-packed weeks. Monday through Friday, campers meet at The PACT studio from 8am-3pm, where they audition, receive a role, and rehearse the show. Those shows are performed on the last Friday of camp!
We also offer workshops, virtual musicals and more during the summer!
